One of the best things your getting ready space can have is natural light! If we can set up in a way that accomodates your hair and makeup being done in front of a window, this will give us beautiful lighting that will make for gorgeous photos. Getting ready in a room with white/lightly colored walls is also best, but this may not be possible depending on the venue that has been chosen- I can work with whatever I'm given! The light is most important. However, if neither option is possible, I can always set up some external flashes - you can rest assured knowing I have the equipment needed to shoot under any conditions and still ensure we get amazing photographs!

Oh, and another really important tip- try to make sure the background isn't cluttered! On the morning of your wedding, you can get super busy very suddenly. Water bottles, clothes, and other things may start to clutter the background if we aren't careful, so definitely ensure things are kept clean while getting ready. If we're taking pictures of you and your girls getting ready in a bedroom, make sure the bed is made so it looks nice and pretty for the photos!
